August 2017 Trip to Alaska from Colorado and Home Again. We set off from Colorado, riding to McCall, Idaho, to visit family and friends. From there, we headed to Seattle to visit more before heading up to Bellingham, Washington, to Homer, Alaska, aboard the Alaska Marine Highway’s M/V Kennicott.

The day is finally here! We are heading to the ferry in Bellingham, WA to hop on the Alaska Marine Highway System. I hope to provide more information and pictures soon, but the Kennicott ferry does not have many amenities or connectivity. We will be departing around 6 PM, following the check-in and loading process.
